You can go to any bank and ask for their CRA compliance book, every bank is required to have one and is required to show it to anyone who asks for it. You could also write about ways to imrpove lending practices, so that loan sharks don't prey on uneducated victims who end up defaulting on mortages which create the foreclosure madness that we are living in today. Most of the information that you need for this is available on the internet and from the banking commission. Maybe you better not sound like a knight in shinning armor, your professor might not like what you have written, but look for yourself the credit card companies have done this in the name of greed, but the over all cost is not just to their card users but to everyone that use American dollars.
