Used Liberty Tax Service - Fees Deducted from refund but our banking info is on the return?

My husband and I used Liberty Tax Service and had the fees deducted from our refund. However, the banking information on our return is our banking info. Does anyone REALLY know how our payment will come? Our originaly refund was DD but everyone on here is saying they’re getting theirs by paper check and some are saying they had fees deducted from their refund but still had their rebate DD. Has anyone personally used Liberty Tax Service, had their fees deducted, but received their rebate by DD?

I used liberty tax service but paid cash for the service when I filed then my entire refund was DD. Why don’t you just call them? 9 lives

It might be printed on your return, but sounds like it actually went from the IRS to Liberty, and then from Liberty to you after they took out their fees - if that’s the case you’ll get a paper check. Judy

According to the IRS if you had your fees taken from your refund you will recieve a paper check…you can call to find out for sure: 800-829-1040 SCH

Your refund was not a direct deposit. The funds took a detour…and were not deposited into your account by the IRS. SG
