How does this work if one bank starts a foreclosure then sells to another bank before foreclosure is complete?

Can a bank withdraw funds from an account I have at a different bank to pay an overdue loan?

I have a mortgage with a bank. The renters left and I have no way of covering the mortgage until I get new renters. The bank took the mortgage out of my checking account. If I close this checking account and open another one at a different bank can they access my new checking account to get their funds.
