I recently opened an account with Bank of America and i keep getting calls from Bank of America reps with third party offers, they didn’t advertise this particular account ‘feature’, anyone else having the same problem?

My account in now over 900 in the negative because bank of america didn’t process my deposit and they say it may be tomorrow before I even see my deposit. they say 6 states are dealing with this right now. This is the second time they have done this to me and I am closing my account as soon as I get my money back. I was wondering if anyone else is dealing with this too?

I have Bank of America and have had them for 4 years, no problems. Love the bank. But they have a high annual fee for a secured credit card, so I don’t want to go through them.

Wells Fargo is cheap. I know I can’t do it online or over the phone, but if I went in person, would they give me one without having a bank account with them?

I bank with Bank of Ameirca. In the past I have had checks posted with insufficient funds in the account. They usually pay the amount and overdraw my account as well as tack on the $35 fee. Bank of America has grown way too large, and the people who work there are treated so poorly. Hispanics, Blacks and some Whites (all SVP positions and up are held by white people) it doesn’t matter what race you are, you can stand outside of there corporate centers and ask the employees what they think and they’ll tell you a Union is needed desperately.

They had a hiring fair, and hired around 200 people from the hiring fair. Then before the 90 days was up, they let those 200 people go. Bank of America is only diverse so it can treat people like migrant workers and pay them almost the same. It’s a shame that Afro-American and the Hispanic communities have award Bank of America with awards for there diversity. That’s just wrong, and something needs to be done.

Again: How can you, or can you start a union at a bank like Bank of America?

If you want a checkings account (campus edge checking account), do you need to have a savings account open.

There’s not even $200 in the checkings and I don’t have the $300 to put in the savings in order to waive the monthly fees.

Can I cancel the savings and stay only with the checkings account?

Assuming this does happen, I have a few mutual funds (cwicx, irfax, and ithax ,to be exact) in a non-ira account in smithbarney, which is within the citigroup group. What will happen to these funds?
