Is it true if I work in banking I have to get a Realtor to sell my home?

Weird. Is that true and what other weird selling law are there.

I can not imagine that this is true. The only people who are not allowed to do For Sale by owner are people with real estate licenses. If the bank also has a real estate license that the person is somehow working under then it would be true, but because of the RE license, not because of the banking. Landlord

It’s not true. You can attempt to sell your own property at any time if you desire. It’s possible that the employer has a strong relationship with a real estate firm, and perhaps it was ’suggested’ that the employee use a real estate firm. acermill

I never heard of that before as when I lived in CA. my neighbor sold me her house without a realator as it was sale by owner and we just used a realestate attorney, to draw up the paperwork for the title co, then put it into escrow. 20 days later , we closed escrow. Ron
