Billy asked: I have a business checking account (sole proprieter) and a personal checking account. I will at times transfer money from my personal account to my business account when funds get low or if my business account has more money, I will transfer some to my personal account to spend freely. Is this a wrong way to be doing things? Should I be doing some sort of documenting? Does the IRS care about this come tax time even if I keep track of sales for the business?

Banks.?s.to.the.world asked: Of course the obvisious answer would be MONEY. Everyone would love to bank or open an account with a bank that gives free money. But lets put money aside for one second. What other ways can a bank get your attention and get you to be one of their customers? Lets start with products. Free checking, no atm fees, extended hours, better interest rates, no fees for overdraft or even give excellent customer service, etc… How can a bank better serve you? Now what about activities, giveaways, or promotions can a bank do to attract you? For example, kids events, charitity events, pens, sport bottles, food, vacation packages, gift certificates, etc… What kind of trinkets or goodies do you like to recieve from companies? So lets hear it people!! What will get your attention or attract you to start or change banks.

Draco asked: I am aware that the rothschilds invented the central banking and brought it to other countries.
My question is, how did these central banks convince people that the paper they printed was worth more than gold?
If you look at the history of central banking, people would trade their gold in for paper money because they thought they were getting a deal since they were getting what was considered worth more in paper form.
Also, how did this printed paper become officially worth anything?
How did it come into law that this paper printed by the central bankers is the official way of money?

=] asked: I have never had a bank account because I never had a job until now. I don’t make much but well, it’s better than nothing. I’m just a student and I’m clueless when it comes to banks. What kind of account should I get and at what bank?

chuck asked: My bank, Washington Mutual, where I’ve been banking for 2+ months, continues to hold funds on every check I deposit for a minimum of 4 days, up to 2 weeks. The 4-day rule is for a check from a local bank. The 2 week rule is for non-local checks. They are very uncompromising about these excessive hold times, and get testy when challenged about them. My previous bank never held checks for so long. I have no adverse banking history that would require WaMu to be so careful.
Please don’t tell me only what your bank does; I would like to hear from those who actually know what the Federal regulations are on this matter. I’ve made a few phone calls about this and looked online, but I can’t find reliable, up-to-date information. Thanks for your help.

mitombo asked: If retail banking deals with individual day-to-day customer then what does business banking involve? Are they closely interrelated?
Thank you.
