killinine asked: Is the bail out a hand out or a loan?
It is my understanding that bridge loans are short term loans and are to be paid back. They aren’t uncommon in business and since the banks aren’t loaning with the bailout money they have been given shouldn’t we help out. Still uncertain though, but what do you think?:
Also, should we take back the money we gave the banks since their just holding on to it?

amylaneproductions asked: For my US Government class we have to make an Obama political ad and our idea for it is to talk about how he’s not going to throw money away at stupid stuff. So were going to film money being thrown at things that the government right now shouldn’t be spending so much money on now when or economy isn’t doing well. Were going to film money being thrown at gas tanks because too much money is spent on oil industries and also throw money at a globe because money is being thrown at other countries when our country needs it. But we need at least one more thing that the government shouldn’t be spending money on. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Beach Cottage asked: I understand the US gives about $60 billion per year to Africa; I would guess Israel must get much military money as well.
How much does the US give to other countries in the past years?
