vikkmathis asked: I was recently fired from my job and wish to transfer my 401K over to the company I’m now working for. The rep. I spoke with said I would not be able to do this because the company I use to work for still have me listed as active. I was told that until they remove me from their payroll I couldn’t do anything with my 401. The thing is I’ve been away from this company for nearly a month now and they still haven’t removed me from their payroll. Who do I need to call to make them get off their A$$ and do their job?

JOHN B asked: We have a hearing next month for an overpayment the SSDI says my husband has and I need to know if the goverment (SSDI) can take our money from the 401k or if they can make us live off our 401k and take our wages? I haven’t been able to find anything online at all about this. Thanks for any help!

Hiroshima, Get Over it asked: Many 401k funds offer GICs (guaranteed investment contracts).
Are these likely to be at risk or affected because of the current problems banks are having with sub-prime mortgages?
