No Name Brand asked: So, I received a cheque for a sum of $800. I banked it yesterday afternoon. When I got home I found a email from the cheque writer saying there was a printing error, all the cheques had been canceled and will be re-issued in 72 hours.
Today I checked my bank account and the cheque has been cleared and credited?
What do you think will happen?

Mark asked: Last year I attempted to purchase a house that was up for short sale. The owner accepted my offer but the bank denied the short sale. Now the owner has stopped making payments and we are trying the short sale again. I am willing to pay the appraised value for the home. What determines whether or not the bank will give the thumbs up or down on the short sale? Is there anything I can do as the buyer to help the process go through?

athena24 asked: I need personal banking options like checkings and savings account. But travelling a lot makes it hard for me. I’m a student in the South, but come from Hawaii. But travel quite often to the west coast and northern parts of the country. I need a bank that I can access from many places. Money can’t be deposited into an account in the south from Hawaii or other places. Which bank would be the best to work with?
I’m looking for a bank in the South West Mississippi. Bank of America is not accessible where I am.
UGHH CAN ANYONE UNDERSTAND? NOT BANK OF AMERICA. THERE IS ONLY ONE IN ALL OF MISSISSIPPI.

Alex “bacon” Timo asked: I need some examples of extra precautions online banking websites have, e.g. I’ve heard something about certain banks sending you a text message when you try to log in with some kind of confirmation code. I’m with halifax and the most they have is a security question which doesn’t go very far in my college assignment.
